Fall Nail Varnish

Hello my lovelies! I'm going to be reviewing this Gelly Hi-shine nail varnish by Barry M, in the shade plum!

Firstly, i want to comment on the actual colour itself! As with all the other colours in the range, 'Plum' is absolutely beautiful! It a very deep blue toned purple, which i feel is really great for autumn into winter!

As you've probably heard blogger after blogger rave on and on about the finish of these nail varnishes, i won't dwell on it too long, but they're definitely worth the hype! You could definitely get away with one coat (although i do advise you use two) and you'd be left with shiny (comparable to gel) nails! They apply so easily to your nails, which adds a real professional touch, because your not left with tell tale novice streaked nails!

In terms of the packaging, i think it could be better, its just like other Barry M nail polishes, but with a different type of lid. However, for the price the packaging is perfectly adequate!

If your looking for a cheap but good quality nail varnish, you should definitely try out this range from Barry M (or any of the ranges for that matter) as they're top quality!
I think, used along side some rose gold jewelry, a thick cardigan or parka, and some brogues, you'd look perfectly styled for Autumn/Fall!

Autumn trends- Burgundy

I know what your all thinking, "Autumns miles away yet!"

But in reality, Autumn will fly around, and before we know it Christmas will be upon us. Yes i just used the 'C' word in August! But today i thought i'd share with you a bit of knowledge i found on the internet! Apparently, this year burgundy is going to be back with us filling up our wardrobes! In my opinion, burgundy is a real autumnal colour anyway, i reminds me of crackling fires and baubles (and again I've somehow reverted this post back to Christmas!) So i thought i'd share with you a few of my Autumn wants shall we say?

Barry M Gelly High Shine Nail Paints

Hello my lovelies! A short review today! Enjoy!

I was browsing through Superdrug last week, and i came across these bright Barry M nail varnishes!

I've tried some of the darker Gelly range, but i really wanted to tryout some of the summer colours! I picked up Green berry (left) and Satsuma (right).

I love the range in general, as they apply really nicely, and in my opinion you can get away one coat if your in a hurry! My favorite of the two, is green berry... I've actually heard that is a dupe for one of the China Glaze ones, which are more expensive! I've already tried out both of these colours, and they seemed to last around 4-5 days with no chips, baring in mind i didn't but a top coat on i think that is pretty good going!

Once applied the nails look soooo glossy without a top coat and in my opinion look like your wearing gel nails!

I really love all the Barry M nail products, and if your a newbie, i'd definitely recommend for you to give these a go!

Top three festive polishes

Hello my little beauties! Christmas is getting ever closer, and its nearly time to paint our fingers ready for the Christmas day celebrations, i like to do my festive nails around the 21st of December, and then touch them up on Christmas eve!

Okay, so this posts about my 3 Favorite festive nail polishes! Firstly, i want to apologize for the blury-ness of the photo, this was the only way i could get them all in shot sorry! On with the post!

3. No7 Stay Perfect Nail Polish:- Millan
Despite how this looks in the bottle, one coat and your set, its perfect for the one coat lovers, The brush is extra wide and you can nearly fill your whole nail with one swipe. Its a soft pink colour, with lot's of silver sparkle, perfect for the festive season. I love this, but sadly i won't be wearing this over Christmas as the other two have piped it to the post. Its rather pricey though! I have a feeling this has been discontinued as i can't find it on the Boots website, but i came across a glitter nail polish that looks absolutely beautiful, so i will link that here. I think i might have to make a sneaky Pre-Christmas purchase!

2. Unbranded Red Nail Polish with flecks of Gold glitter
I'm sorry that this is completely unbranded and i can't find anything like it on the internet. But i couldn't leave this out of the post! Basically, its a light cherry red nail polish, and gold glitter mixed together and i love it. I don't exactly know how gained this, so that doesn't help either! But i did come across something pretty cool from Amazon that i thought i'd link as a replacement (2 out of 3 replacements! How rubbish am i? Eurgh). Its two nail art pens, one gold and one red, with glitter and the works, i don't know how good they are but i'm thinking about buying them, so if i do i'll probably write a post. Anyway, they're available here.

1. Barry M Glitter Nail polish:- Amethyst Glitter
Okay, so this one, i don't have to find a replacement for! You can buy the actual thing! And let me tell you its worth £2.99. As you can see from the picture above, that the glitter is mostly pink, teal and gold glitter, it shimmers like a disco ball! J One coats plenty for a quick coat, however  I prefer 2-3 coats to make it look nice and filled! I'm going to try doing ombre nails with this over the top of a black polish, and if it works this is going to be what i'm wearing on christmas day! All very exciting i know! Barry M are a great budget brand for nail polish and  make up! Available Here.

So i hoped you liked this post, on all things polished! Tell us in the comments your top three polishes! We'd love to know!
